The silicone is thick enough that I actually feel confident setting the bottle down on uneven surfaces without it tipping over. The non-slip grip is a nice bonus when my hands get a little sweaty during hikes.

Didn't think I needed a silicone sleeve until my bottle tipped off the counter and landed without a scratch. The non-slip grip actually works, even with wet hands, and it keeps the base steady on my desk.

This little cover has already saved my bottle from two clumsy desk-to-floor drops, and the non-slip grip makes it feel so much more secure in my hand. My bottle stays put on uneven surfaces now, too.
